Screwless Flat Plate

A clip-on outer frame conceals all fixings, leaving an uninterrupted metal face with a low-profile edge that sits flush against the wall.

British Standards Compliant

Manufactured and tested to BS 1363 (plugs & sockets), BS EN 60669 (switches) and BS 5733 for general electrical accessories.

10 Year Warranty

Every Britnox plate carries a ten-year guarantee covering both mechanism performance and finish integrity under normal indoor use.

Solid Metal Construction

Pressed steel and brass substrates, electroplated or powder-coated for depth of colour rather than printed or filmed.

Rated 13A / 250V

Sockets rated 13A 250V AC with shuttered outlets; switches available in 10AX 1-gang through 6-gang, 1-way and 2-way configurations.

Standard Back Box Depth

Fits 25mm boxes for single-gang switches and 35mm boxes for sockets and multi-gang plates — no bespoke carpentry required.

Cleaning

Wipe with a dry or barely damp soft cloth. Never use solvents, abrasive creams or alcohol-based sprays on plated surfaces.

Patina

Antique brass, brushed bronze and dark bronze are living finishes — they deepen and vary slightly from plate to plate.

Batch Matching

Order a full project in a single batch where possible; hand-applied finishes carry small, intentional tonal variation.
